Background

In her final year of high school at ISS in 1999, Neisau Tuidraki decided to audition at FM96 (CFL) to become a part time DJ and this is where her journey began in the media industry of Fiji. She worked her way through the ranks of radio till she was paired with Mervin Singh to host the coveted Breakfast spot on prime time. 'Breakfast with Merv and Neisau' proved a successful pairing of the duo and they consistently came out as the #1 Breakfast Show on Tebbutt Research for the 5 years they were on - air. It was here that she honed her voice over skills for corporate clients. 
 
While juggling her on - air career, Neisau also took on the daunting task of stage managing 'Tadra Kahani' Fiji's biggest high school stage show. Working closely with  young Fijian artists who were attempting to explore their creative minds made Neisau realise the importance of providing creative platforms for Fijians to express and explore their artistic craft and she has been an advocate of such platforms. Neisau also did some part - time work with PR company Samba! on the off season of Tadra Kahani. 
 
After her stint in radio she moved across to 'Fiji TV' where she was recruited to re-conceptualise and produce the TV Show IQ Active. It was here she found her love for editing and shooting film. She spent two and half years at Fiji TV and has worked in the development field and creative industry of Fiji for nearly two decades.

Neisau is an advocate of creative arts and uses online spaces for digital advocacy and is a Nia Tero Pasifika Jounalism Fellow. She is currently based in Melbourne but extensively consults for clients across the Pacific
